MegaGen implants

Korean MegaGen implants are made of titanium, and an alloy of titanium with aluminum, vanadium. The alloy components are biologically compatible, due to the alloy strength is increased. Coating with calcium ions improves engraftment of the implant. This element increases the regeneration of bone tissue.

MegaGen implant placement methods

MegaGen implants can be placed using either the immediate method or the classic method.

The main feature of immediate implantation is its use immediately after the tooth has been removed or after a minimum period of time after that.

The procedure is performed quickly, in one step, lasts no more than 30 minutes:

• Inject anesthesia.
• A hole is made with a special drill, the diameter of which is up to 3 mm.
• The rod (implant) is screwed into the bone.
• Making a temporary structure.
• After engraftment, a permanent crown is installed.

Classical implantation consists of the following stages:

• Preparatory – evaluate the condition, volume of bone tissue, carry out professional hygiene of teeth and gums.
• An implant is installed, sutures are placed on the gum.
• After a week, the stitches are removed.
• It takes 3-6 months for the pin to take root.
• Immediately or after 2.5-4 months, a gum shaper is installed.
