What to choose - veneers or whitening?

How are veneers different from crowns?
Crowns cover much more tissues surrounding the tooth, and veneers are installed only on the front part of the teeth. Under the crown, the tooth is cut in a circle, removing all the enamel, and for veneers, it is work within the front part of the tooth enamel (about 0.3 mm thick). .
In addition, adhesive fixation is used for veneers – chemical bonding, when the veneer and the tooth become one whole at the chemical level.
Is it necessary to grind the teeth before the procedure?
Minimal processing of the tooth is required to prepare the surface for fixation and to create an invisible joint between the veneer and the tooth. The treatment is harmless to the teeth, because it does not affect the dentine. We do not grind our teeth more than necessary.
Are veneers painful to install?

Is it possible to put veneers on not all teeth?
Yes! Veneers do not have to be placed on the entire jaw: it is possible only on a few teeth (and even on one). But if you have a problem with your bite or several problem teeth, it is better to consult with our specialist about the number of veneers.
Are there any age restrictions for veneers?
We advise you to install veneers after the age of 18, when the growth of the skeleton and the change in the position of the teeth have finally finished. Until the age of 18, you can install temporary veneers or do safe whitening if you just want to change the color of your teeth.
