Another supporting tool is the dental laser. When needed, it's used to make soft-tissue incisions or to help section the tooth, making its removal less traumatic. When Ultrasonic Extraction Matters Most

Does Removing a Wisdom Tooth Hurt?
Probably the most common question from patients who need a wisdom tooth removed for clinical reasons is: "will it hurt?" The procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia. In that case, a person may feel slight pressure or touch, but not pain.
